Donning
1. Put on the mask assembly, adjust head harness.
2. Power on blower unit and secure it around the neck.
3. Connect mask to blower via push-fit connector (twist until locked).
4. Ensure positive airflow and alarm systems are working.
Doffing
1. Power off the blower
2. Disconnect mask from blower.
3. Remove mask and blower; clean and store per maintenance guidelines.
Pre-Use Checks
- Visually inspect the blower, mask, connections, and filters.
- Confirm battery charge is sufficient.
- Perform flow self-test and check any alarms or indicators.
During Use
- Monitor battery and flow alarms.
- Replace filters or battery when alarms or warnings occur.
- Avoid usage in atmospheres that are immediately dangerous
to life or health (IDLH), unless the unit is specifically certified for
that condition.
Maintenance
Daily: Inspect for damage, clean outer surfaces with mild
detergent, replace pre-filters as needed.
Periodic / Scheduled: Replace main filters when breathing
resistance rises or per usage schedules; test alarm & blower
performance.
Cleaning: Mask and blower components can be washed
per manual; ensure proper drying before reuse.

major repairs.
